  • National Archives Ireland - Professional Genealogist Free Consultation (Helen Kerry) on 12-Nov2018
Search criteria was for records relating to Timothy Kiley/Kahaly
    Born approx 1828
Married 20-12-1862 in London (Catholic service) - need to locate original parish record and check if this has any further details not on Civil Marriage record (e.g. Catholic records often have the Mothers names)

Timothy's father is listed as Jeremiah, however this name is also know as Demetrius/Dermot/Darby in Irish/Gaelic spellings.

    Helen found a Jeremiah KEHELLY

from Marriage Cert in 1862 Timothy was 25 thus birth year likely to be 1837 (1862-25)
Helen also mentioned that ages are frequently over stated and people are younger than on many official records.
---- the above however does not tie in with the cert I obtained which appears to show Timothy as 35 in 1862, so I am wondering if she didn’t fully listen to the things I said about him that I/we knew -----
