Hi Dave,

The Child family certainly did live at Michelham Priory and is certainly worth a visit as there are many interesting items, including photographs, to be seen . It is open to the public. Tillingdown Farm whom our ancestor rented, is still there as well. The local churches at Arlington and Alfriston are worth a visit, as there are many members of the Child family buried in those churchyards.
