1851 Census, Bridge is not a Common Burton on trent name, but there are lots in Lancashire.
1881 Census Coggeshall Essex, Ex Bricklayer (Age 60) William could have been born in Burton whilst parents were travelling through?
NORKIES followed the grain from Norfolk & Suffolk to the Burton Breweries to work in the "Malings".

If family were non-conformists it will be even more difficult to find the birth record.

Two Birth Cert's were incorrect - may not be the true person but it is one of these closest possible.
Burslem Cert had wrong Fathers First name when compared to Marriage Cert.
Valda's suggestion of a William Lakin was also a false lead as the Father is listed as Joseph Lakin & Mother Sarah Lakin fomerly Smith

Hugh Wallis Middle Name index has thrown up a possibility, presuming the middle name is the fathers surname for out out or wedlock birth to retain some connection (a long shot I am aware, but may be possible)

Hi
William till born circa 1858 is actually William Bridge Tell, he is on the 1861 census with Frances Till who is living with her parents and was born Burton on Trent.
I was wondering how you knew that Charles was born in Long melford Standstead.
Best wishes Val
