  Hi David, Re Maria/Emma - Maria nee Ship was married to Wm.Robert Child - the father of your Wm.
  Her sister was Emma. The siblings I referred to were Maria's children.
  According to my father, Maria was the one who lived to be around 100 - she must have come from good country stock!
  Actually the Ships were originally from Sussex, some of them moved to Norfolk, which is where Maria was b. + her mother d age 91.
  Re the children of Maria/Wm., I have 14 names - most of which I must have got from the 1881/91 census. Do you want to go that route or would you like me to list them?

  Dave - yes they were siblings, there were about 14 of them! My dad said Maria lived to be about 100!
  Maria's sister Emma also married into my family - she was my maternal Ggrandmother. The Ships were also a large family.

  My Gt Grand dad William Robert Child (Born 1870) was Ada Alice's Brother by the looks of things.
  Has any tale of Michelham Priory passed down via your families verbal history at all?
