Notes
- Dear Dave,
It was great to get a reply from you. Ellen Wells was born about 1862, according to the various censuses. She was the daughter of Charles Weager (or Wager, depending on the source) Wells and his wife Eleanor (Ellen). She was the sister of my great grandmother Elizabeth Ann Bishop. I had a quick look at a couple of the censuses to see her children, but of course, 1901 was the latest available. I would love it if you could forward any information you may have about her descendants as I am slowly collecting information on the ‘side branches’ of my family.
You mentioned an Anthony Greene in your email. Is he related on your Renwick side or does he have a Wells connection? If the latter, could you please give me his contact details, as I have found no-one else who is hunting for Wells. You probably do not need any of the Wells info I have, as they are not a direct line for you, but you are welcome to any I have.
Regards
Sandra Smith
